Indy Partnership, the regional economic development organization representing the nine-county Indianapolis metro area for Central Indiana, has chosen veteran economic developer Scott Fulford to become the organization’s new Executive Director, effective since March 1, 2011. This move follows the consolidation of operations between Develop Indy, the local economic development organization for Marion County and Indy Partnership.

Two of Central Indiana’s leading economic development organizations will formally join forces to create a more streamlined effort to maximize business attraction and marketing for Indianapolis and the greater region.

Indy Partnership has been honored with the national “Excellence in Research Projects Supporting Business Development” award from the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER).

For the second time in seven months, Indy Partnership, Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, and Duke Energy Indiana Economic Development are joining forces to present a united message during their meetings with executives in Germany and Britain. That message is explaining why Indiana is far exceeding all other Midwest states in direct foreign investment.
