Matt Waldo is the Director of Research and Information for The Indy Partnership, the economic development organization for the 10-county area including Indianapolis.  In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of research work, including oversight of all databases and reference material, assisting sales staff with their information needs, and developing content for marketing materials.

Previously, Matt worked in the Workforce and Economic Development Division at Ivy Tech Community College, where he conducted labor market research used in marketing, advising students, and gaining accreditation for new programs. Matt has also been a Program Director with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and a private consulting company. In these positions he has assisted with multi-million-dollar industrial efficiency and job creation programs for several Fortune 500 companies.  Matt is the founder and chair of the Research Committee of the Indiana Economic Development Association.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and a Master of Public Affairs with distinction, both from Indiana University. 

Matt lives with his wife and two sons in Fishers.  He enjoys hiking and biking with his son, Evan.  Matt’s favorite place in Indianapolis is the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
