Genesis Plastics Welding
March 2011 -- Hancock County-based Genesis Plastics Welding will invest $3.3 million to expand its existing production facility, adding 54 new employees by 2014.The company serves medical, military, automotive and consumer products equipment manufacturers.
Genesis Casket Company
February 2011 -- Genesis Casket Company announced it has chosen Indianapolis over several competing Midwestern cities for a new manufacturing and distribution facility and will create 300 jobs locally. The company, a partner of Troy, Mich., manufacturer Gestamp North America, will invest $17.4 million in new equipment to produce 30,000 caskets in its first year of operation.
KPaul Corporation
February 2011 -- Government supplier KPaul Corporation will add 200 jobs to the Indianapolis region as it launches a new business unit. The company has expanded its headquarters sixfold since the beginning of 2010 and was #10 in INC Magazine's list of "500 Fastest Growing Companies in America."
Aero Engine Controls
January 2010 -- Aerospace engineering firm Aero Engine Controls will expand its operations near Indianapolis International Airport. The company plans to invest $8.5 million and add 159 jobs over the next two years. Aero Engine Controls is a joint venture of British firm Rolls-Royce plc and Charlotte-based Goodrich Corp.
